Kevin Granville

Kevin Granville is a staff editor at The New York Times, where he has been a lead news designer and, more recently, a copy editor for the Business Day section. As a news designer he worked on the Pulitzer Prize-winning daily section, "A Nation Challenged," following the 9/11 attacks.
Before the Times he was a reporter and assignment editor at The Record in Hackensack, N.J., supervising award-winning reporters covering health care, transportation, the environment, state government, technology and towns. He also has been a reporter at the Daily Record (in Morris County, N.J.) and The Record (a weekly in Havre de Grace, Md.).
He has a B.A. in political economy from Johns Hopkins, and an M.S. from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism, where he was a winner of the Pulitzer Traveling Fellowship.
