Katya Soldak
is originally from Kharkov, Ukraine. She has worked for CBS News Productions and other NYC production companies that make documentaries for the History Channel, the Discovery Channel and PBS. Before moving to the U.S. in 2000, she wrote for local newspapers and produced shows for a Kharkov TV channel. Her work can be found at NYC24.com and TheBrooklynInk.com
 

Elsa Butler is a multimedia student at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. Her recent work can be found on NYC24.com, National Public Radio and WNBC.com.

Elsa has worked as a reporter for Reuters, California’s Marin Independent Journal, Condé Nast Traveler, South Africa’s Cape Argus, the arts and culture Website Flavorpill, and most recently, NPR’s morning radio show, The Bryant Park Project. She is working at The New York Times tv/video department for the summer of 2008.

She has covered technology, breaking news, music, performing arts, international sailing and performing arts. Elsa graduated from Colorado College in 1998 with a B.A. in English and Creative Writing.
