Columbia Radio News live coverage Election 2004

Listen to the entire 2004 election broadcast.

2004 Election Broadcast

Throughout election night, Columbia Radio News provided reporting and analysis as results came in from around the country. With reporters at the sites of important races around New York City, in New Jersey and in the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania, the students of Columbia University produced two hours of colorful, informative commentary and news. In addition, Columbia provided advanced news about the election: From the status of voting machines throughout the city, to reports on the swing state battlegrounds. We looked into reports of potential voter fraud at polling places and checked out the poll monitors and security systems that were in place. And, we looked back at the election crisis that occurred in 2000 - and analyzed whether it could happen again.
