Columbia Radio News - Uptown Radio

Uptown Radio is an hour-long program produced and written by reporters in Radio Workshop and broadcast on the Internet each week February to May. In this class, students write and report news and feature stories in a variety of short and long radio formats. Particular attention is devoted to long-form radio journalism forms used at NPR and in other public radio news organizations. Most stories emerge from a beat followed during the semester.
