Before coming to Columbia in 2007, Adam
Hirsch received his undergraduate degrees in
American Studies and Theatre from Wesleyan
University and worked for a dozen years as a
systems administrator during the wild
early days of the internet. He has traveled to
Nepal, India, New Zealand, Finland, and Western
Europe.
Audio is his favorite medium, but he enjoys
telling stories in many forms.
Adam is the Web Producer for The Takeaway, a
new morning news show based out of WNYC in New
York City. He lives in Manhattan with his wife,
