Reporting and Writing 1 and Radio Skills
Radio Skills is a short course (three to seven weeks) in the
basics of radio writing, production and use of sound. Students
write and produce at least three radio reports, using recorded
interviews ("actualities") and are introduced to radio's
potential for sound-rich documentary writing, such as is heard
on National Public Radio programs. Courses are scheduled throughout
the fall semester (and in the spring semester on demand). Read
the course syllabus.
