Thursday March 10
Depart New York from JFK at 3:55 PM.

Friday March 11: ABU GHOSH/JERUSALEM
Arrive Tel Aviv 7:00 AM.
Lunch in Abu Ghosh, a Muslim community with friendly neighborly relations.
View Jerusalem from the Tayelet (promenade) with spectacular views of the city.
Observe Friday night prayers at the Western Wall in the Old City.
Dinner and stay the night at the Pearl Hotel near the Old City's Jaffa Gate.

Saturday, March 12: JERUSALEM
Morning off.
12:00 Old City tour: Jewish, Muslim, Christian Quarters.
Evening: Nightlife in Jerusalem.

Sunday, March 13: JERUSALEM/JUDEAN DESERT
Morning Mass at the Old City churches, walk the Via Dolorosa, or Way of the Cross, where Jesus walked on his way to his crucifixion.
Meet with Christian, Armenian leaders, muftis.
Lunch with nuns from nearby nunnery.
Travel to the Judean desert: spend night with Bedouins near Masada (mountain desert fortress where Jewish zealots committed suicide rather than submit to the Romans).

Monday, March 14: JUDEAN DESERT/NORTH
Early morning climb up Masada and tour.
Lunch and recreation at the Dead Sea.
Travel north to Nahariya.
Overnight at Nes Amin, a Christian kibbutz in Haifa.

Tuesday, March 15: HAIFA
Visit to the Bahai temple and gardens, Haifa.
Visit Rosh Hanikra, a chalk cliff close to the Israeli-Lebanese border with sea-filled labyrinthine grottoes. Throughout history, Rosh Hanikra was a point of passage for trading caravans and armies among Lebanon, Syria Israel and North Africa.
Dinner and overnight at Nes Amin (Christian Kibbutz) ? including program.

Wednesday March 16: GOLAN/ZFAT
Morning visit to Yad Layeled center on The Ghetto Fighter?s Kibbutz, a memorial and museum to children of the Holocaust.
Visit the Golan Heights and a Druze village -- followed by visit and dinner in Zfat, one of the four sacred cities in Israel, and the birthplace of Jewish mysticism.
Stay overnight in close to Tiberias at Kibbutz Ein Gev.

Thursday March 17: NAZARETH
Spend day touring and reporting in Nazareth.
Spend night in Kibbutz Ein Gev.

Friday March 18: TIBERIAS/JERUSALEM
Morning tour of churches around Tiberias.
Back to Jerusalem, overnight in East Jerusalem hotel.

Saturday March 19: JERUSALEM
FREE!

Sunday March 20
Leave for airport and 12:30 AM flight from Tel Aviv to NY
Arrive 5:15 AM JFK
